The nine-month technology-driven cannabis production program prepares you for industry-relevant jobs comprising Cannabis Master Grower, Responsible Person, Cultivation Technician, Extraction Technologist, Cannabis Consultant/Educator and Product Developer. The program also opens career paths in cannabis sectors from healthcare, edibles, and cosmetics to nutraceuticals in Canada. Through this program, you will learn how the Canadian cannabis industry’s regulatory framework applies to commercial cannabis production. The program covers Cannabis Regulations and Cannabis Commercial Production Mechanisms (Cannabis Cultivation, Extraction, Biotechnological Processes, and Tissue Culture) and all the production-related activities within the scope of the Cannabis Regulations Act.
The program provides extensive knowledge on cannabis history and related regulations, current cannabis regulatory requirements, cannabis quality management systems, cannabis plant diseases, and current cannabis pest management techniques and sanitation programs besides other topics. Students will also learn skills through hands-on training or online satellite training with cannabis plants.
Industrial workshops and production practical training in the curriculum helps in ultimate cannabis production exposure. The NACPT has a faculty of professional expertise and industrial knowledge who conduct regular program reviews for an updated course content that cater to the current job market in cannabis production.
English as a Second Language (ESL) International program – Level 5, Prerequisite program for enrolling into an academic vocational diploma program
Duration: 8 Weeks, Mode of Delivery: In person
ESL – Level 5 is the prerequisite program to enroll into any academic program for temporary residence students in Canada. Integrate intermediate grammar to advanced level of speaking, writing, listening and written communication.

Being a part of the program will allow the graduates to work with an industry professional, individually, to obtain the maximum job opportunities in the Cannabis Production Technology industry. As part of the job development program, the career development team will help each NACPT graduate tailor the resume, prepare candidates for specific job positions, conduct mock interviews, connect with industry experts, and have exclusive access to the job market. Every qualified student will receive references on particular projects completed under this program. You will also have the opportunity to with NACPT alumni working in pharma or related sectors.
