Program Overview – Pharmacy Assistant Training Program

The Pharmacy Assistant Fast-Track Training Program is a 2-week intensive course designed to support individuals in pursuing employment opportunities in the growing pharmacy and healthcare sector. The program includes 2 weeks of accelerated skill training and a 1-month optional work placement in pharmacies. It is offered both online and in person, providing flexibility for participants.

Our Pharmacy Assistant Program is designed to help you rapidly develop the essential knowledge and skills needed to work in a variety of pharmacy settings such as hospitals, community, and retail pharmacies. You will learn pharmacy fundamentals, relevant laws, prescription processing, communication and math skills, business basics, and employment strategies. This fast-track program reflects current trends and best practices in pharmacy assisting across Canada and emphasizes a collaborative, client- and customer-focused approach.

Throughout the program, you will work closely with experienced instructors and pharmacy professionals who are experts in the field. The intensive, hands-on training ensures that you gain practical knowledge and job-ready skills within a short timeframe, enabling you to quickly transition into a Pharmacy Assistant role.
