Pharmacy Assistant

The Pharmacy Assistant Training Program is a 12-week comprehensive course designed to support individuals in pursuing employment opportunities in the growing pharmacy and healthcare sector. The program includes 12 weeks of skill training and a 1-month optional work placement in pharmacies. It is offered both online and in person, providing flexibility for participants.

Our Pharmacy Assistant Program is designed to help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to work in a variety of pharmacy settings such as hospitals, community, and retail pharmacies. You will learn pharmacy fundamentals, relevant laws, prescription processing, communication and math skills, business management, and employment strategies. This program reflects current trends and best practices in pharmacy assisting across Canada and emphasizes a collaborative, client- and customer-focused approach.

Throughout the program, you will work closely with experienced instructors and pharmacy staff who are experts in the field. This hands-on experience ensures that you gain practical knowledge and relevant skills to excel in your role as a Pharmacy Assistant.
