The nine-month, technology-driven Cannabis Production Program at NACPT prepares students for a range of industry-relevant careers, including Cannabis Master Grower, Responsible Person, Cultivation Technician, Extraction Technologist, Cannabis Consultant or Educator, and Product Developer. Graduates are well-positioned to pursue opportunities across multiple cannabis sectors, including healthcare, edibles, cosmetics, and nutraceuticals within the Canadian market.
This comprehensive program equips students with an in-depth understanding of the regulatory framework governing Canada9s commercial cannabis industry. Core topics include Cannabis Regulations, Cannabis Commercial Production Mechanisms such as cultivation, extraction, biotechnological processes, and tissue culture, along with all production-related activities outlined under the Cannabis Regulations Act.
Students will gain extensive knowledge in cannabis history, current regulatory standards, quality management systems, plant diseases, pest control techniques, and sanitation protocols. Practical skills are developed through hands-on training with cannabis plants or online satellite training, depending on the delivery method selected.
Industrial workshops and real-world production training are integrated into the curriculum to ensure that students gain valuable exposure to cannabis production environments. NACPT9s faculty members bring professional expertise and deep industry knowledge, conducting regular program reviews to ensure the course content remains aligned with evolving job market demands in cannabis production.
NACPT Pharma College offers a comprehensive Job Development Program designed to support graduates in securing employment within the Cannabis Production Technology industry. This optional program provides individualized guidance, enabling graduates to work one-on-one with experienced industry professionals to enhance their career prospects and access relevant job opportunities.
As part of the program, the Career Development Team assists each graduate in developing tailored resumes, preparing for specific job interviews, participating in mock interview sessions, and building connections with key industry professionals. Participants also gain exclusive access to job opportunities that may not be publicly advertised, giving them a distinct advantage in the job market.
Graduates who successfully complete program-related projects will receive professional references to strengthen their job applications. Additionally, participants will have opportunities to connect with NACPT alumni currently employed in the pharmaceutical and cannabis sectors, further expanding their professional network and industry insight.
This program is specifically designed to help students establish a clear career path and deepen their understanding of the industry through expert mentorship and strategic career planning. English as a Second Language (ESL) International program – Level 5
Prerequisite program for enrolling into an academic vocational diploma program.
Duration: 8 Weeks
Mode of Delivery: In person
ESL – Level 5 is the prerequisite program to enroll into any academic program for temporary residence students in Canada. Integrates intermediate grammar to advanced levels of speaking, writing, listening, and written communication.
