The Cannabis Head of Security Training Program is specifically designed to meet Health Canada’s regulatory requirements for Licensed Producers (LPs). As a mandated role, the Head of Security (HoS) plays a critical part in maintaining secure operations within cannabis facilities.
This comprehensive program provides participants with the knowledge and practical tools needed to develop, implement, and manage robust security systems and protocols across all areas of cannabis production and distribution.
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Introduction to Head of Security
SOPs, Organizational Security Plan, and Physical Security Plans.
Budgets, P&L, and Procurement
Security Systems (Cameras, Card Readers, Intercoms, Alarms) and Safety Supplies.
Access protocols for employees, Visitors, and Contractors.

Incident Reports, Statistics, audits, inspections, Cannabis Tracking (CTLS).
Emergency Incident Response (Fire, Bomb Threat, Power Loss, Suspicious Activities).
