Prepare to contribute to organized, customer-focused pharmacy service

Program Overview

Pharmacy Assistants help pharmacy teams manage the administrative, customer-service, inventory, and prescription-processing activities that keep daily operations organized. They may greet customers, collect information, enter data, prepare labels and packaging, maintain stock, process transactions, and route medication or health questions to the pharmacist.

NACPT’s 12-week certificate connects pharmacy terminology and workflow with practical communication, calculations, business procedures, prescription support, and pharmacy-software familiarity. The curriculum emphasizes accuracy, privacy, professionalism, teamwork, and understanding the boundaries of the assistant role.

The program is suitable for learners entering the pharmacy sector as well as people bringing customer-service, healthcare, office, or retail experience to a new career direction.
