NACPT Pharma college, the award-winning career college in ‘Healthcare’ and ‘Medical Cannabis’ education, provides career training in Kahnawà:ke through Tewatohnhi’saktha.

NACPT Pharma College in collaboration with Tewatohnhi’saktha, will provide career education to the residents of Kahnawà:ke and Greater Montreal, at First Nations Regional Adult Education Centre (FNRAEC). Through this partnership it is our mission to provide world-class education in various sectors including healthcare, medical cannabis, business, finance, travel, and tourism to the indigenous community and in turn help explore the professional and business opportunities in these areas across North America.

SECOND CAREER GRANT

If you are planning to do upskill training for a career change you may qualify for the Second career grant and can now receive up to $28000 coverage from the Government of Ontario. Qualified candidates will get financial assistance for tuition, books, manuals, workbooks or other instructional costs, transportation, basic living allowance and child care as applicable.

To qualify for this program you must satisfy the following requirements

Have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent; or Be at least 18 years of age and pass the Wonderlic SLE with a minimum score of 11.

Clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector, within 45 days of commencement of study.

NACPT’s PSW – Hybrid program will help students who would like to manage their day-to-day activities along with educating themselves for a high, in-demand career as a Personal Support Worker.

The students can choose to learn online and/or attend virtual classes with the program instructor. This methodology of teaching and learning highly benefits students who have compromising personal situations. With the above-average job growth, low unemployment rate, and the current pandemic situation in the healthcare sector, the Personal Support Worker – Hybrid program is designed such that upon completion, our students are ready to join the workforce in months!

JOB ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

NACPT offers its unique Job Assistance Program for all graduates. Being a part of the program will allow the graduates to work with an industry professional, individually, to obtain the maximum job opportunities in the Healthcare industry. Through Job Assistance Program a career development team will help each NACPT graduate tailor their resume, prepare for specific job positions, conduct mock interviews, connect with industry experts, and have exclusive access to the job market. Every qualified student will receive references on projects completed under this program. You will also have the opportunity to network with NACPT alumni working in healthcare or related sectors.

NACPT has designed this Job Development Program to help the students prepare a career plan knowing the industry better through expert advice.

Please note that this program is optional and is not mandatory for graduation.
