Semester 1

CANQ001 – Cannabis Good Production Practices

This program covers all cannabis good production practices along with SOP writing, all related regulations such as GACP, HACCP, GVP, SGCR, PCP, Eu-GMP and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

CANQ002 – Introduction to Cannabis Laboratory Testing

This program covers cannabis chemistry, cannabinoids, terpenes, analytical, biological and physical testing regulatory requirements for mandatory and non-mandatory testing, testing methods, and testing instrumentation, testing methods, CofAs and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

Students will have hands-on live demonstrations in the cannabis testing laboratory.

CANQ008 – Cannabis Plant Science

This program covers cannabis history, anatomy, plant functionality, spread, evolution, how cannabis works in human systems and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

Students will have hands-on training or on-line satellite training with cannabis plants

CANQ0013 – Cannabis Regulations

This program covers the history of cannabis and related regulations, regulatory frameworks, current cannabis regulatory requirements for production, security, testing, product release, supply chain and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

CANQ009 – Cannabis Quality Assurance System

This program covers all major quality assurance systems for the cannabis industry including quality control, sanitation, IPM, audit and inspection, document control system, and related topics with industrial projects and case studies.

Semester 2

CANQ005 – Development of Cannabis Standard Operating Procedures

This program covers GPP/GMP regulatory requirements for SOPs, benefits of SOPs, types of SOPs, how to create SOP templates, who can write SOPs, how to effectively write SOPs and related topic with industrial projects and case studies.

CANQ006 – Cannabis Good Documentation Practices

CANQ007 – Cannabis Scientific Technical Writing

This program covers GPP/GMP regulatory requirements for SOPs, benefits of SOPs, types of SOPs, how to create SOP template, who can write SOPs, how to effectively write SOPs, gap analysis, CAPA, change control system, deviation, OOS, protocols, reports and related topic with industrial projects and case studies.

CANQ003 – High Performance Liquid Chromatography

This program covers cannabis analytical testing requirements, HPLC chromatographic system, HPLC instrumentation, product sample, standard and mobile preparation, setting the HPLC system for testing, chemstation software training, running sequences, troubleshooting, data analysis and report writing

Semester 3

CANQ004 – Gas Chromatography

This program covers cannabis analytical testing requirements, GC chromatographic system, GC instrumentation, product sample, standard and mobile preparation, setting the GC system for testing, residual solvent testing, chemstation software training, running sequences, troubleshooting, data analysis and report writing

CANQ0010 – Cannabis Audit and Inspection

This program covers different types of audit and inspection process for the cannabis industry, preparation for audit and regulatory inspection, working with inspectors, inspection observations and warning letters, inspection reports, responding to inspection comments and related topics with industrial projects and case studies.

CANQ0011 – Quality Assurance for Cannabis Plant Biotechnology

This program covers quality assurance systems for cannabis biotechnological cannabinoid production process, tissue culture, benefits and future trends of the biotechnological process and related topic with real live projects and case studies

CANQ0012 – Cannabis Licensed Producer Application

This program covers the various cannabis licensing processes, preparation for licensing processes, licensing submission, security clearance process, CTLS, follow-ups, responding to Health Canada correspondence and mock licensing process and case studies.

CANQ0014 – Cannabis Quality Management System

This program covers cannabis history, anatomy, plant functionality, spread, evolution, how cannabis works in human systems and related topic with real live projects and case studies

*Industrial Workshops – Industrial workshops will be included in the programme, where students will work closely with the institution to get industrial experience.

Duration: 35 weeks (8 months) of training, with 4 weeks break and 4 months of optional job assistance program

Hybrid Learning Mode will be used for programs that include hands-on training (theory will be delivered online and hands-on training will be delivered on-site).
