This program introduces students to the fundamental concepts of various formulation and validation technologies within the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout the program, students will explore a wide range of topics, including biotechnological formulation 6covering both upstream and downstream processes, pharmaceutical formulation 6solid, liquid, powder, and related formulations 6and various validation concepts. These include processing, cleaning, packaging, facility, utility, equipment, computer, method, sterile, and other related validations currently practiced in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries. Graduates of the Pharmaceutical Formulation and Validation Technology program are well-qualified to pursue careers as Technologists, Technicians, Validation Assistants, Formulators, Validation Scientists/Engineers, and Managers.

NACPT9s Pharmaceutical Formulation and Validation Technology program equips students with the essential technical and practical skills needed to excel in their careers. The program offers comprehensive industrial exposure, intensive training, and hands-on workshops, along with optional Job Assistance for co-op, internship, and full-time opportunities within the pharmaceutical, cannabis, biopharmaceutical, and related sectors.

Students will collaborate closely with the institution to gain valuable industrial exposure. Those who meet the program9s criteria will gain access to industrial testing laboratories and Research and Development facilities.

Admission Requirements

  • Student with a minimum of Grade 12 Diploma with required Science and Math courses or equivalent.

Prerequisite Program

English as a Second Language (ESL) International program – Level 5
Prerequisite program for enrolling into an academic vocational diploma program.

Duration: 8 Weeks
Mode of Delivery: In person

ESL – Level 5 is the prerequisite program to enroll into any academic program for temporary residence students in Canada. Integrates intermediate grammar to advanced levels of speaking, writing, listening, and written communication.
