Program Outline

Semester 1

CANP001 – Cannabis Plant Science

This program covers cannabis history, anatomy, plant functionality, spread, evolution, how cannabis works in human systems and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

Students will have hands-on training or on-line satellite training with cannabis plants

CANP002 – Cannabis Regulations

This program covers the history of cannabis and related regulations, regulatory frameworks, current cannabis regulatory requirements for production, security, testing, product release, supply chain and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

CANP003 – Cannabis Commercial Production Mechanisms

This program covers both cultivation and extraction techniques and practices in micro and standard scales including the appropriate GPP, quality management systems (QMS) and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

Students will have hands-on training or on-line satellite training with cannabis production and extraction processes and practices with cannabis plants and production.

CANP004 – Cannabis Plant Pathology

This program covers cannabis plant diseases, diagnosis, treatments and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

CANP005 – Cannabis Facility Design

This program covers regulatory requirements and facility design processes for various cannabis facilities and related topic with real live projects and case studies.

Semester 2

CANP006 Cannabis Security and Plant Management

This program covers regulatory requirements, security and facility management systems and processes for various cannabis facilities and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

CANP007 – Cannabis Entomology and Pest Management

This program covers cannabis entomology, current pest management techniques, QMS, IPM and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

CANP008 – Cannabis Sanitization Program

This program covers cannabis current sanitation programs, developing sanitation SOPs, and quality management systems, audit, inspection, monitoring, Gap analysis, CAPA, change control and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

CANP009 – Cannabis Good Production Practice

This program covers all cannabis good production practices  along with SOP writing, all related regulations such as GACP, HACCP, GVP, SGCR, PCP, Eu-GMP and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

CANP0010 – Cannabis Analytical Chemistry

This program covers cannabis chemistry, cannabinoids, terpenes, analytical, biological and physical testing regulatory requirements for mandatory and non-mandatory testing, testing methods, and testing instrumentation, testing methods, CofAs and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

Students will have hands-on live demonstrations in the cannabis testing laboratory.

Semester 3

CANP0011 – Cannabis Supply Chain

This program covers cannabis supply chain management fundamentals, upstream and downstream processes, current and future expectation, implementation of effective supply chain management, measuring and controlling supply chain management process, and related topic with real live projects and case studies.

CANP0013 – Cannabis Plant Biotechnology

This program covers regulatory requirements, cannabis biotechnological cannabinoid production process, tissue culture, benefits and future trends of the biotechnological process and related topic with real live projects and case studies

CANP0014 – Cannabis Quality Management Systems

This program covers cannabis history, anatomy, plant functionality, spread, evolution, how cannabis works in human systems and related topic with real live projects and case studies

CANP0015 – Cannabis-Infused Product Development

This program covers cannabis infused product development for edibles, cosmetics (therapeutic and skin care products), medical devices and related topics with real live projects and case studies.

CANP0016 – Cannabis Production Exposure

At the end of the training, the students can attend multiple industrial workshops, guest speaker sessions and or field trips and internships to create a smooth transition to the cannabis industry.

Students need to closely work with intuition to go through the entire production exposure.

Duration: 35 weeks (8 months) of training, with 4 weeks break and 4 months of optional job assistance program

Due to COVID-19, all training classes have been moved online (live, interactive, and instructor-led) or onsite until further notice. Hybrid Learning Mode will be used for programs that include hands-on training (theory will be delivered online and hands-on training will be delivered on-site).
